A complex structure of nuclear disks of normal spiral galaxies is illustrated on the example of five galaxies, observed at 6m telescope. A problem of gravitational stability of nuclear disks is shortly discussed.

We use data obtained with the PCA onboard RXTE to analyze the spectral variations of the black hole candidate and superluminal source GRS 1915+105. We review the arguments given in [1] for how the slope of the column density distribution of the Lyα forest should depend on the matter power spectrum. The latest progress, presented by various groups in this conference and elsewhere, is summarized.
